This year we are excited to partner with local homestead businesses to bring hands-on workshops with make-and-take projects. ALL of our workshops are FREE to attend, but if you or someone in your family would like to make/take something with them, when available, the RSVP link will have a FREE ticket and a FEE ticket. Prices will vary by event, so please plan accordingly.
Please remember to dress for the weather/location/activity and always bring a chair or blanket and a notebook!
If you sign up for a workshop you will receive final details by email. In an effort to protect the privacy of our hosts, we do not publish the location of workshops unless they are in a public location. Make sure you are getting our emails!
2026 Meetings
We are still working on ideas for our gathering in July. Make sure you’re signed up for our Emails and follow us on Social Media so you won’t miss anything!
Instead of a workshop this month, we are planning to gather and chat! Bring your favorite books or tools or homestead hacks and share what you’ve learned. Is there a podcast you never miss, or a magazine you love, or a conference that changed your life? Let’s share a meal and share ideas this month!
We’ll meet at the Kerrs Creek Farm Stand at 12:00. Come early and check out the market, or join us for lunch. Bring a chair or a blanket. We won’t meet if it’s raining, but otherwise we’ll see you there!

Steve Hart of Hart-Land Farm will give a beginner-friendly talk on keeping a family dairy cow. We’ll visit with one of his cows and learn how he manages grazing his grass-fed dairy herd.
Steve’s farm hosts the Kerrs Creek Farmers Market, so we’ll meet at the Kerrs Creek Farm Stand again at 12:00. Come early and check out the market, or join us at 12 for lunch. Bring a chair or a blanket, dress appropriately, and be prepared for a little walking. We won’t meet if it’s pouring, but otherwise we’ll see you there!
